Recorded on a Ludwig Black Diamond Pearl kit with bottom heads pulled — the dry, punchy approach of the classic Memphis sessions. Captured through Coles 4038 ribbon mics and API 3124 preamps, then printed to tape before hitting the DAW. Every stage of that chain was intentional. This is how records were made then.
